Significant activity and Calls for Service for February 7-13

Theft – 19000 block of IH-45 – Unknown suspect stole merchandise from a local retail store.
Recovery of Stolen Vehicle – Patrol located a reported stolen vehicle. Subsequent investigation led to the determination that the issue was civil and not criminal in nature.
Hit and Run Accident – 19100 block of IH-45 – Unknown suspect struck and damaged a parked car and fled the scene without leaving contact information.
Welfare Check – Officers were dispatched to a welfare check and determined a subject needed medical assistance, which was given.
Warrant Service – 19000 block of IH-45 – A traffic stop and subsequent investigation led to the arrest of a suspect for open warrants.
Unlawful use of Criminal Instrument / Narcotics – A suspicious person investigation led to the arrest of two suspects for possession of a criminal instrument and possession of cocaine.
Criminal Mischief – 8800 block of Metro Park - Unknown suspect forced entry into a Toyota 4Runner, but nothing was stolen.
Criminal Mischief – 8800 block of Metro Park - Unknown suspect forced entry into a Chevrolet truck, but nothing was stolen.
Theft – 19100 block of IH-45 – Suspect arrested for theft from a local retail store.
Recovery of Stolen Vehicle / Narcotics – Officers located a stolen vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. One suspect was arrested for possession of various narcotics and the stolen vehicle was recovered.
Burglary of motor Vehicle – Unknown suspect broke into a Chevrolet truck and stole items from the truck bed.
