Proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendments

Proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendments graphic

The City’s original comprehensive plan was adopted in 2010 and it set a good working framework for guiding future development. Over time, City officials realized that some amendments were needed to keep the plan relevant. During the past eight months, the Planning and Zoning Commission has focused on areas that need updating. While much of the plan will remain intact, the commission recommended changes as shown on the map and in the document at the links below.

The revised Comprehensive Plan will be presented to City Council for adoption at the regular meeting on April 14, 2021 at 7:00pm at city hall. There will also be a public hearing to receive citizen comments on the proposed changes. We welcome your feedback.
